Introduced in 1989, Ouverture is Riedel's uncomplicated beginner series for customers, who appreciate good, reasonably priced wine.
This new shape was developed to narrow the gap between the Ouverture red wine glass and the bigger shapes in the Vinum series. The generous size of the bowl helps to release the wine's aromas, and is appropriate for all the classic red grape varieties. On the palate, the glass is designed to emphasize fruit and balance tannins.
